I recently had the absolute pleasure of visiting the Amara Wellness Centre and experienced for the first time a Hammam Ritual.  The premises were immaculate and the service impeccable.  Dr Zara was an absolute treasure and possessed one of the most caring and knowledgeable bedside manners I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.  Stepping inside my own private Hammam Chamber I was instantly transported to the exotic shores of Turkey.  It was an honour to be able to immerse myself in a beauty ritual from another culture and even though I am not of any religious persuasion myself I felt so comfortable, relaxed and welcome in the healing hands of my therapist.  There was so much care and attention to detail during the Hammam ritual that I totally forgot where I was or the fact that I had opted to be fully naked for my treatment.  It was a real testament to the professionalism and knowledge of the staff.  My experience was only highlighted by the fact that all products that touched my body were 100% natural and organic.  It was also very comforting to know that all areas of the spa were cleaned in organic cleaning products.  Just a few examples of how this centre goes above and beyond your average day spa.  When I finally emerged from my treatment the caring and healing continued with the attention to detail of organic linens that I was draped in as I sat peacefully and grazed on the organic fresh mint tea and fruit platter.  I can safely say that this was one of the most treasured treatments I have experienced and under the guidance of Dr Zara, the Amara Wellness Centre in unlike any healing environment I have visited.  Keep up the amazing work.

I had my first hammam a month ago at Amara Wellness Centre and to put it mildly I was blown away. To put this in context I am a huge fan and consumer of massage, spa treatments and bathing experiences. It was two hours of pleasure and wellness. Beautiful premises, excellent service and skilled practitioners.  I will take every opportunity to spend money and recommend people visit Amara.
